Mechanical Designer

Place of work: Skawina/Ostrów Wielkopolski

Join us and start working as part of a team that designs, builds and implements state-of-the-art production lines and testers for our customers around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drawing up a technical concept based on product specifications
  • Design of new jobs and modification of existing ones
  • Preparation of 3D/2D design documentation and supervision of its manufacturing processes
  • Selection of appropriate commercial components for the application
  • Responsibility for selection of appropriate construction materials and their thermo-chemical treatments
  • Assisting in the installation and commissioning of stations
  • Creating pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, FMEA analysis, hazard analysis
  • Collaborate with other company departments working on a given product
  • Creating workstation instructions
  • Familiarizing and improving the use of the database – Siemens Teamcenter

Requirements:

  • Higher technical education (Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering or related)
  • Min. 3 years of experience in a similar position (preferably in the automotive industry)
  • Good knowledge of technical drawing
  • Good knowledge of mechanics and machine construction, pneumatics, material science, machining
  • Good command of Solid Works and Autocad
  • High organization of work
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Independence in decision-making
  • Knowledge of English to communicate freely
