Marketing Manager

Your task will be to combine innovative marketing with sales targets – in a dynamic engineering and technology environment.

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing effective marketing activities to support sales and strengthen the company’s position in the industrial and technology industry.

This is a role for someone who wants to have a real impact on shaping the company’s marketing strategy and co-creating the processes of marketing and sales collaboration. We are looking for a leader with ideas who is not afraid of operational action, but who can also think strategically and implement long-term solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Comprehensive management of the marketing area – from strategy, to planning, to overseeing the implementation of all marketing activities, materials and initiatives (including events, campaigns, communications and partnerships)
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy in line with the company’s sales and image goals
  • Optimize existing activities and implement new marketing solutions to increase sales effectiveness
  • Work closely with the Sales department and Management in the creation and implementation of lead generation campaigns, development of marketing and sales funnels
  • Monitor and analyze the market, competition and trends – especially in the area of automation, new technologies and the industrial sector
  • Participate in the planning and execution of social media and Google Ads campaigns – with a B2B focus
  • Coordinate internal and external communications
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts with industry media
  • Data analysis and ongoing optimization of marketing activities – also using marketing automation tools
  • Managing the marketing budget
  • Leading and developing a small, agile marketing team, including delegating tasks, mentoring and jointly planning operational activities
  • Regular reporting of activities, projects and results to the Director of the Sales Department

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager (experience in industry or technology related industries preferred)
  • University degree in marketing
  • Experience in B2B marketing and the ability to tailor communications and marketing activities to industry specifics
  • Experience managing a team and building engagement
  • Practical knowledge of marketing automation tools and experience in their implementation
  • Ability to develop marketing strategies and plans
  • Ability to independently lead and manage projects – proven by specific implementations
  • Ability to analyze the market, sales data and effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Commitment, goal-oriented and highly independent
  • Knowledge of English at the C1 level

 

       Nice to have:

  • Communicative knowledge of German
