I rate my internship at Nextomation very positively and consider it time well spent during the summer. A major advantage was the opportunity to work in an industrial environment already at this stage of my studies. The atmosphere was great, and it was easy to build relationships with other employees, which is not always the case in other companies.
I hope to have the opportunity to work at Nextomation in the future as an electrical designer or automation engineer.
During the internship, I learned to use SolidWorks, create higher-level 2D documentation for parts and assemblies, design machine components, read electrical schematics, complete GAP and pneumatic diagrams, use the TeamCenter database, work in a team, and manage my time effectively.
The work atmosphere was very good—everyone was helpful and kind. Team support was strong, and all my questions were answered quickly and clearly. I would definitely recommend the internship program due to the personal development opportunities and the many practical skills it provides. Gaining professional experience is also a key advantage for future career growth.
During the internship, I was able to improve my skills in creating advanced layouts and cycle time analysis.
The office atmosphere was very friendly. Over these three months, I met many great people from different departments, with whom I could both talk freely and learn a lot.

What I liked most was the opportunity to work with modern technologies and machines. As an intern in the automation department, I could develop the knowledge and skills gained during my studies in an industrial environment.
I learned how to read and create electrical schematics, expanded my PLC programming knowledge, and designed HMI panel screens. Working on real machine commissioning helped me gain experience in communication with industrial devices.
The work atmosphere was very positive. Whenever I had difficulties with a task, I could always ask more experienced colleagues for help. I would recommend this internship to anyone planning a career in industry.
